There appears to be a problem with NVidia's new drivers...

I downloaded NVidia's new drivers (91.31) and I decided to enable antialaising, so I did and then most games (like Oblivion and GunZ) showed about only 1/4 of my screen. Not that a smaller resolution was forced on, just that I only say 1/4 of the screen and it was all zoomed in. I will post a pic regarding this in a minute...
BTW it's not all games though. Quake appears to run fine (wtf?)

The screenshot looked fine when I later viewed it. But for some reason in game i only see 1/4 of what I'm supposed to see... but with antiaslaising off it looks fine... wtf? I guess all I can say is don't install NVidia 91.31, heh...

My thoughts were confirmed ^^
I uninstalled 91.31 NVidia bunk and but on like 3 yr old drivers that came with my card, anabled antialaising in gunz... and i saw 100% of what I was supposed to.
If any admin can put it up as news on the front page that reveals NVidia's 91.31 video card driver's flaw, I and I'm sure MANY other NVidia user's would highly appriciate.

Odd the 91.31 drivers work great for me including new games like Oblivion been using them since the Beta stage for weeks must be lucky!

The drivers only seem to phail when antialaising/ansiotropic filtering is on, at least for me. Maybe my card it just too old

Is that the thing where you wear these special glasses and it actually adds depth to the image? I tried this at a friend's house with one of those Need for Speed games... I had the hardest time driving home that night... I was like "Man, this would be so much easier if I was floating above and behind my car... oh look, a road sign! *skrrt wham* oh crap... this is real!"

Ansiotropic filtering enhances the image/texture quality
Antialasing gets rif of the jagged edges that occur on the ends of 3d objects. Commonly reffered to as "fuzzies", or "edgeyness or edgies"...

qrack has ansiotropic filtering, test with gl_anisotropic 8 see if u get the error.
Its realtime so no neeed to reset map. though gl_aniostropic 0 doesnt really turn it off only enables bifiltering

also set drivers to application controlled.

for other games maybe force it.. etc etc.. or just call tech ( u might need to speak another language...)

Im gettin Qrack files now. I will test it, but I still very highly doubt that I will have such a problem as the forementioned because Antialaising an Anisotropic Filtering worked fine in Quake. I think its something ghey like my video card being too old to use those features with the new drivers.
PS: When's Qrack 1.56 coming out?
