I know plenty of aspiring game dev's call Quakeone.com a sort of home, so I thought I would share this.

cool little video, and I'm on the fence about the game industry, because as much as I love the idea of making games, I want to focus a lot of my time on improving my in game skills so my team and I can get into some tournaments and really get out there

I made a game once... it was horrible...

Then I worked on an off-road racing simulator, which has been put on the furthest back burner I could find while I focus on web development.

When I have enough experience and foresight I plan on opening my own game development studio and start making small/simple games again but until there's room it'll have to wait.

I had/have an awesome idea(s) for a open world RPG which I've been keeping hush-hush about and only worked up prototypes to help flesh out ideas but the scope of a game like this will probably make it my first official game to be released which will take a lot of work and a crew of more then just myself possibly, or at least contributors.

Actually I've made quite a few games but they were more tech demos then games which had little interaction past protagonist movement and world interaction with simple objects.

Making games isn't hard, finding the time to make them good is.

I actually do the youtube stuff, and yes, there will be quake soon

waiting till I improve before I start playing that beast
