arcanum had some extremely dark areas, especially in the first map

and it has this enemy, which looks like a dark priest/bishop

Something else you could do, is go to your youtube.com account page, and look at your view history. That's are sure fire way of finding it I bet

Heh, this was about two years ago, there's no way its in the history. I'll track it down somehow... Not sure if I'll ever get around to sifting through post histories tho...

Thanks for the suggestions, but it wasn't Blood, Hexen or any other commercial game. It was definitely a custom deal. May have been a Doom TC.

Someone posted some unrelated video they uploaded, I went and checked the rest of the channel and found footage of it. there was a handful of videos.

I recall that the lighting wasn't very good, much of it was black. I dont remember the weapons, I think an enemy was some sort of dark priest (similar to hexen). It felt very doomish.

It was a WIP and pretty rough. Still interesting though.

Can you remember any other details?
For example, did it have guns, magic or other types of weapon?
Can you recall any of the enemies?
What was the hud like?
Was it a straight fps or did it contain other elements like hairdressing, ballroom dancing or sheep husbandry?

If it was Quake based, is there a chance it could be far back in the "works in progress" thread?

sadly it got abandoned long ago after they finished the multiplayer aspect

I'm looking for a game/hobby project/WIP by, I *believe*, a user on here.

I found videos of it on youtube in some round-about way probably over two years ago.

What I remember: It was dark, occultish and used sprites for characters and viewmodels. I *think* it was running in quake.

I wanna say it was damage_inc? not sure though. If you know what I'm talking about let me know! I wanted to see it again, I thought it was interesting.
