  • Useless Comparisons

If you were some form of vehicle, based on your size, power, speed, etc... what would it be?

I am undoubtedly a motorcycle (probably a chopper if I take my long arms into consideration). I'm bulit far too sleek to be anything bigger than a motorcycle, but my performance levels are too high to be a scooter.

So, my final answer is - some kind of stock chopper.

    How about you?

If you actually run faster than a scooter you should do some kind of running contest.
Contradiction is truth. Fear is freedom. Rights are privileges. Job is a commodity. Ignorance is strength.

Speed in this has little to do with running. Running counts but there are lots of things that can be done quickly by some and much slower by others. This is more about your overall speed in contrast to the speed your average human moves at. For instance, I can't even help but to walk at about 50% faster than a normal person. I also perform my job accurately at break neck speed. I'm always moving fast. I also have an unexpected amount of power for my size (probably due to moving so much). These are attributes that could describe a motorcycle (speed, power > size, acute handling at any speed).

Hope that clears up your confusion.

I currently have a hard time trying to tell if you're trolling or not. Is it trolling to compare forum members to vehicles? I'm tired so I withhold judgement today.

Know that I'm a bulldozer with a thread-locker attachment if I have to be.

edit: oh, ok, you edited it out. Fine, I'll sleep then.

@gb - I put it in chat-o-rama?.. This seems to be where everyone puts things unrelated to quake. Someone asked me this question earlier today and I simply passed it on.

@thread lock powers - I know. I never worry about my threads getting locked cause I'm not trying to do anything wrong.

I'm not sure about the troll part. I posted 3 mini tuts in Show us your modelling project. My project was to teach people how to model with arrays. lol. I responded to Talisas model the same way I always have and I posted a bit about my turret model (in chat-o-rama). I even restrained from bringing man boobs to a harsh level. That's almost all of my activity in a bit.

MG: well someone complained about the original version of your post #2 in this thread, but since you edited it, I guess that is resolved.

              Adam: LOL, I can relate.

I want to complain that none of you answered the damn question. @Adam - I would destroy you son. There are people in this world in fantastic shape and I'm one of them. If I was a bike with a lawnmower engine I would have said so.

I didn't edit post #2, I rewrote the entire thing. I think I know what part there was a problem with but that isn't why I rewrote it and that part was to make a realistic comparisson, not to be a dick to anyone.

I'd love to meet whatever vehicle Adam is and give it some body and fender work. I already hate this punk and he wants to come around making jokes....

My post was in relation to myself.
I would like to think of myself as a Custom BMW 1200 but in reality I am closer to an old pushbike with an engine strapped on.
Considering that I am the only person to give you an answer, I think you might be a little less hostile.

No, google searched for an old powered pushbike but I do have a bike history.
My dad was really into rebuilding BSAs, Triumphs and old Suzukis. I never had anything exciting, just secondhand stuff.
1982 Raleigh Tuff Burner. Had it for years, It was a fairly early BMX and weighed a ton.
                      in 1992 I got another bike from 82, a Honda 100XL
Next it was a 1995 GT Karakoram (similar to this one).
1997 was the year of the 93' Yamaha XT 125
Then after my GT got nicked I had a bunch of cars (another story).
2007, I got a 98' Kawasaki ZZR 250(Mine wasn't anyway near as nice condition as this pic),
2008 I got another Honda XL, a 250 from 1972. Worked fine but it wasn't road licenced. Last purchase: 2009 Giant Cypress
The Giant is ok, wasn't expensive but it works fine. I have been riding a lot with my better-half and eldest, so an upgrade has been on my mind.
It would probably do me good to spend less on gfx cards and more on exercise equipment.
Also, I never owned anything over a 250cc because I only ever got my part one bike licence. Down here you need to pass a second test to get your part two. I was tempted on a few occasions but never did it.

I kinda like the look of those Hondas.

I'm not such a fan of the modern-style motorcycles.
