  • System tray notifications?

So I was just wondering if there is a way to receive notifications from quakeone.com such as private messages, or new forum posts, if your system tray.

    It is possible

You can use a simple RSS reader for the trick, I personally recommend Gazette for Ubuntu-derivatives or Monotony for OS X...

On the poor side of the Windows family, I don't know what are the options..

        No your not.

        copy this link : http://quakeone.com/external.php?type=rss2&lastpost=1

^ solecord posted that rss link in a post here

        install this : http://www.feednotifier.com/files/feed-notifier-2.6.exe
^ I just ran through the process. install program, right click system tray icon - add feed - link gets pulled from clipboard automatically.

It worked here, this is at least a starting point.
