@baker - jovial was received. Sometimes I feel like the most misunderstood person on the planet, well, on the internet, anyway.

I wouldn't vote Gary Johnson for City Dog Catcher. That guy isn't even from this planet. He's also a reactionary SJW hung up on political correctness. Shoot me now. Those people drive me crazy. I'd literally, not figuratively, literally rather have to talk to a Jahovas witness every Sunday for the rest of my life.

I refuse to vote for a man who makes obvious sexual insinuations with his tongue.

Well, for the record I only criticize your stuff because I believe criticism is the "unwanted point of view that provides insight most people don't have the nerve to say but offers you an alternative viewpoint hence has value".

I may be critical, but I am also emphatical and not saying things out of "bad will" or anything like that.

I guess I'm saying that at least from my perspective, you aren't misunderstood.

@spike - That was awesome. I didn't expect the end.

@baker - there is nothing you ever will or wont do which will alter my direction. That being said, I accept you for who you are and even what you believe. I have an "only terrible people" policy. It's only terrible people that I will completely throw away and ignore forever. Regardless, of anything you have ever said or done to me, I don't believe you fall in the "terrible person" category. Cynical, critical, sure, all of that (so am I) but not Terrible. So, it's just whatever, man. In 6 years we haven't tried to use our knowledge to completely destroy the others life so, I think we're doing pretty good.

According to a FORTUNE magazine current running poll (whatever that is worth) Trump is beating Hillary from 51 to 55 percent for 4 questions.

                Who:
                won overall? - 51%
was strongest on economy? - 55%
was strongest on national security? - 54%
provided the clearest vision for America? - 52%

when asked if the debate has changed their mind

                yes - 13%
                no - 80%
                undecided - 7%

According to the poll, currently about 370,000 people have participated. The approximation is mine cause the real number they show keeps going up and each question the number is a little different. YOu can skip around on the questions but you have to participate to see the current results.

Interesting... so the people think, at least from that sample, that Trump won despite Hillary being more tactical. I imagine that's probably a reflection of the first hour or so, because in terms of pure debate Hillary did manage to clutch it. Is this an election or what, folks?!

                    clinton - %22.81

Conservative Treehouse - Polls, Polls, Polls

The above URL served as my directory of polls. There are numerous more which I did not post here. IMO, Time magazine seems to have the least biased votes. I don't even like Clinton and I can admit she was a little ahead in the debate. To see numbers like trump 82/ clinton 17 tells me these are some heavily biased votes. Of course all of these are open polls and can't be considered very accurate. I want to see some fresh state polls regarding who people plan to vote for... as opposed to who won the debate.

One is a corporate shill, the other has no idea what he's doing and just goes with whatever the ratings will get him and doesn't give a shit about the every day person.

The libertarian party and Gary Johnson / Wald are needed more than ever. Vote for a third party, stop supporting these shills who keep fucking you in the ass every year.
I agree there should be a 3rd option. Personally, I think we should pass a resolution that allows us to vote for the option to have both the democratic and republican parties fire their candidates and present us with 2 new choices. A libertarian candidate? Meh. Sounds good in theory, but in reality the majority will never swing that way, at least not presently or in the foreseeable-ish future.

Dunno if anyone caught the same key comment that I heard. When the moderator steered the debate to the issue of Trump not releasing his tax returns, he said... a bunch of rambling misdirecting bullshit, to which Clinton responded by saying something like, "He probably doesn't want people to know he hasn't paid any taxes.", to which Trump interrupted with, "Yeah, cuz I'm smart." He basically confirmed that he doesn't pay taxes and uses writeoffs and charity loopholes to effectively weasel his way out of having to pay his fair share of taxes. He's PROUD of it! And later he went on to say that as president he was going to cut taxes on the wealthy (people like him, who, like him, already DON'T pay taxes). And even later, he had the incredible balls and unmitigated gall to say that NATO countries like Japan etc should pay their agreed upon amounts in full to NATO so that we can better provide them with the security that NATO... meh, whatever, you get the drift.

I can't be alone in wanting to punch this cocksücker in his orange fucking face.

This kind of shit is precisely why money is such a problem for the government. Trump made (according to what I heard last night if it's correct) 600+ million dollars last year. And some hard working responsible American citizen with a wife and 2 kids, working a shitty job as a septic tank pumper, made probably between 13,000 and 16,000 last year, can barely afford to feed and shelter his family, and HE paid more taxes than Donald Trump.

I promise you, if this dickhead gets elected, I'm becoming as much of a taxpayer as Donald Trump is. Don't care if it costs me more to do it legally than just paying the taxes. If more of the middle class taxpaying slaves like us would use the same tactics to squirm out of having to pay the government anything, then maybe the government would be FORCED to do something to finally criminalize this crooked bullshit like they should've done long ago. These assholes are riding down OUR roads that WE paid for in their goddamned ridiculous stretched limousines paid for with cash that SHOULD have gone to contribute to the roads.

To be fair, Clinton does the exact same thing under the Clinton foundation and much worse; keep in mind five people (I think that's the number) who have worked for her campaign are DEAD, and large portions of our failures in the Middle East (not to mention her explicitly stating in her emails that a war in Syria could advance Israel's position in the world and she'd be totally willing to aide that fight) happened under her jurisdiction. Remember Bernie? Her people at the DNC were responsible for knocking him out of the election (more info came in recently thanks to Guccifer 2.0). If anything, I'd want to punch her in her pale, crusty, sick vagina.

We should've seen the storm coming when McCain started letting Palin give speeches. I thought she was bad. And she WAS, she was dumb as hell, but she still looks like a mensa member next to the 2 assclowns on this ballot. And here's the part where you shit your fruit of the looms: It'll probably be worse the next time. I believe this downward trend in the quality of candidates will continue at an exponential rate. That movie Idiocracy was not entertainment, it was prophecy. Mike Tyson for President in 2024.

I agree with Gypsy, the stop-and-frisk thing is going to be something he'll have to defend, I'm surprised Hillary managed to last the whole thing without passing out (though that curious lump on her left leg is still there), but Trump really started hitting hard on those points early, he was BRUTAL, and Hillary lacked a lot of clear responses especially in that first hour (you can tell which parts were recited). I think in terms of hardcore, completely straight-forward debate Hillary won but in terms of who's election this is going to help, I think Trump's pulling away with the victories that count. Also, they fact-checked Trump and he was right about the gold standard thing, and I think that's gonna bite her in the ass.
stop and frisk helped NYC's crime rate's drop over 50%. Yes some officer's abused the hell out of it, but the original intent was to only use it when suspecting suspicion of a person committing a crime, or about to commit a crime EX: 2am in the morning some dude chillin in front of a bank atm leaning against the wall, or walking down a residential street and looking into car's, garages, or house windows. Terry V. Ohio clear's all this up with the 4th amendment.

The Fourth Amendment requires that the police have a reasonable suspicion that a crime has been, is being, or is about to be committed before stopping a suspect. If the police reasonably suspect the person is armed and dangerous, they may conduct a frisk, a quick pat-down of the person's outer clothing.

Reasonably suspect: don't take much and when I worked in Law Enforcement, EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE was armed and dangerous until I deemed it safe after contact.

Stop and Frisk is still on the books at the NYPD, the mayor refuses to allow the officer's to use the technique.

Stop & Frisk is NOT the same as Search & Seizure, this is where people have the misunderstanding.

Ah, ok... I wasn't saying anything about Stop and Frisk itself, but rather that Trump couldn't really set up a defense about it and looked a little shaky. Still though, interesting to get a law enforcement perspective on this.
