They are user submissions for their Photoshop contests.

I've participated in a couple of contests... as soon as you upload your work, it becomes W1K's property. That's why they require that you don't photoshop using copyrighted material.

The community out there is GREAT.

Grim didnt just go ahead and post the image because Worth1000 claimed the image as their own. Which it isnt. (It was around before Worth1000) Ebaum does similar, taking images and jokes from around the net and slapping his name on it.
