Okay guys, back on Singed I had done something like this. Well, since this is QuakeOne, I want to re-do this.

Basically I have a script that randomly picks a phrase from a list I create and puts it wherever I put the code at. I had this on my story site but I want to update it with some "newer" quotes.

So here's the deal - I'll put your quotes into the list if you provide them. I have a few rules though:

2 quotes max per person.
Nothing offensive. I'll omit a few things, but otherwise don't use them.

That's really all I ask. So PM, IM, or post your quotes and I'll put them into the list.

By the way, here is the original list. I'm about to remove these and start over, but here they are anyway (and if you were on the original list and you want to reuse your quote, just tell me):

Okay the code is in Javascript, so I don't know how to convert the code into BBC, unless that's impossible.

You can't include Javascript into the forums here.

On a side note: I'll be implementing this very feature to the site here but just haven't had time to do it lately. The script we're using to run the entire site comes with a random quote displayer but it was ugly and needed to be recoded. That was always on the backburner to things like the server browser so it just never got done yet :-/

Ah well, I wanted to try to put that into my profile but I guess it's scrapped.

I'll still re-do the list, though, and put it back on my site, or if one of the other Quake forums allows HTML/Java then I'll use it for there.
