    You're old! Happy 41! :d

Only as old as you feel. With an 8 year old and two grandchildren, I don't have time for old.

    Thanks just the same.

I will find you... it's only a matter of time.

        Happy birthday, Grim
Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

Well, not exactly, my son gets first place for his involvement in making this "one" birthday special. I'm typically one that doesn't think much of a birthday other than it being just another day. With that said...

I came in from work yesterday and with a happy excited look on his face, he says, "Happy Birthday Dad!". I smiled and told him thanks that I was 14. He looks at me sternly and say, "DAD YOUR 41!! YOUR 41!!. Welll we goof off for a bit and he goes to finished his homework.

I went into my computer room and cranked up the old 286-12 so I could do my taxes and eventually play the new expansion pack that WoW came out with. I finished my taxes in about an hour and proceeded to play. I had just got into the beggining parts of the Outlands, here's some pics. Pic1 Pic2 Pic3

So here I am in my element and my wife comes in to tell me that Mark, my son, has set the table and wanted us to eat together. Usually I eat at my computer. I'm like, "ok, I'm on my way."

We go in and eat, talk and have a good time. He then looks at his mom and says, "Can I go get it now?", She told him yes and he goes into the fridge and breaks out one of my favorites, a chocolate pie. Not an ordinary chocolate pie mind you, one that my son made... just for me. :d He proceeds to put candles on the pie and wouldn't you know it, he puts 14 candles on it. I blow them out and he's all smiles.

All in all, I had a great day. It simply doesn't get any better than that.

I will find you... it's only a matter of time.

You know, you really know how to crap on a thread. Truth be told, you don't have a clue as to how my home is run.

If my wife & son wants to eat at the television, then who am I to stop it? If he wants to eat in his room so he can watch Spongebob, then he can. I eat at my computer, whoopie.

                  What's your problem?

People usually eat with their family, not alone. I don't know about you, but I hate to eat alone in front of the TV or the PC or whatsoever.

Lunch and dinner is a holy moment for me and my family, and it shall be shared with everyone.

I eat at my computer too (why do you think you see me on Shmack and I'm not playing but I'll be talking to people?). Occasionally we eat together but otherwise my dad wants to watch TV in the living room and my mom wants to watch something else in the kitchen, and bro goes to his room as well.

But in any case just because our family decides to eat in seperate rooms doesn't mean that we're "disconnected" or that we hate each other or something.
