im actually glad that we "lost" against Vancouver. if we had to face the Ducks, it would probably be a sweep. atleast we went down with some dignity instead of the humiliation that the Canucks are sure to face.


seriously though...if we had home ice on that last game, we'd have won. instead, we got stuck with a bunch of Canadian referees calling 6 or 7 bullshit phantom penalties on all of our key players.

then Tippit's dumbass decides to pull the only thing holding our team up from disaster: Marty Turco. if he'd have kept Turco in, theres a chance we could have stopped any further goals and tied up the game for overtime. i mean, come on. we were only 1 goal behind...pulling Turco put us 3 goals behind.

the game was bullshit in that the refs fucked us over, and so did our own coach. but it was what it was. atleast it was fun to watch.

wanna complain about ref'ing... did you watch the Preds/Sharks series? The refs were horrible in that series, giving out bs calls all over the place. That's the problem with the NHL today... inconsistant calls all over the board.
