                Dawg I was all up qtest on a modem.

                Well sure, I didn't play every moment in between now and that magical day I downloaded it from Compuserve. But I did my darndest!

                Now is the time where I sit here and feel old.

                  It's 10 for me, actually.

                  You gotta remember that way back then there were a crapload of servers. I mean we all came from different communities.

                  For example, I started out on quake.zebra.net and moved my way to other servers like quake.dread.net (CTF, no relation to dredd.quakeone.com), quake.fundy.net (DM), quake.1st.net (DM), and quake.argon.org (RQ, back then known as Artifact Quake).

                    There were a shitload of quake servers back then. I was making maps for Duke Nukem at the time.
