You want impact? There are too many people that really don't care either way. It's a lazy attitude where "someone else will do it". It's a shame to say it but it's true. We can talk smack all day long but there's not enough people willing to do anything about it.

Same thing with gasoline. They will complain if the price of gas goes up but there's nothing that can or will be done about it. They will still buy it and still drive. As far as I'm concerned I can ride a bike. Maybe that's what we need, no more gasoline. Make everyone ride a bike. Maybe that'll shape up some of these fatties.

The only thing about terraforming the Moon is that it would lose its reflectability. Needless to say, there would not be any moonlight on the Earth anymore. As a matter of fact, the Moon would be much harder to see.

if Electric vehicles ran on TRACKS/Rails then there could be enough JUICE on the interstate to drive trucks. City streets would just use small cell engines.

Everything I've ever read about ethanol says it doesn't burn cleanly enough for any kind of engines, sort of like burning sugar.

I saw something on some guy who had the idea of cars running on compressed air. Of course, that can EXPLODE.

I'm for mandating the use of electric cars by 2050; down with the combustible engine! Though, concerns of polluting the environment are less dramatic as Yellowstone erupting which would send us into an ice age for 100 years. Then there's the threat of a meteor colliding with the Earth in the next few hundred years, unless scientists can push it off course with a nuclear blast.

All in all, we are doomed from the time we were born. I guess it's best to make the most of it while we can.

Say what you want but the way people are living and polluting the environment is definitely (yes, DEFINITELY) a very bad thing.

The earth's climate is changing because the earth is going through a celestial shift, or passing through the solar system's center point of its gravity (rough explanation) but it happens about every 10,000 years, if you look at our history theres also evidence that catastrophes happen almost every 10,000 years. what a coincidence huh?

Humans do help speed up this process but not enough to start getting excited about. This is a natural motion for the earth.
