    Afternoon all.

Just in case fewer ppl are showing up than expected, I tried to connect using my usual proquake client and this was my experience...

    "Connecting..."
    "Connection Accepted"
    "CLRead Error"
    "Lost connection"

    Shortly after Proquake crashed

Please don't investigate on my behalf as I'm terrible at team games, but I hope this helps.

    Kind regards
    Monty

You might try QSSM (maitained by Woods) ...

Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

As Baker said above, you might try QSSM. ProQuake clients won't connect to the servers these days as (insert a bunch of technical mumbo jump I don't understand), the servers use FTE or QSSM to run and have moved on from ProQuake. They may still connect to shmack, but I'm unsure about that.

Thanks for the heads up Frenz/Baker, I can stil connect to Shmack and QRF with Proquake, but I will give QSSM a go.
          Kind regards
