    "CLRead Error"

Please don't investigate on my behalf as I'm terrible at team games, but I hope this helps.

As Baker said above, you might try QSSM. ProQuake clients won't connect to the servers these days as (insert a bunch of technical mumbo jump I don't understand), the servers use FTE or QSSM to run and have moved on from ProQuake. They may still connect to shmack, but I'm unsure about that.

Been having REGULAR games on denver.quakeone.com , both 3wave CTF and Team Deathmatch games. Almost nightly! Feel free to pay attention to the server browser and come join in on the fun!

Sounds good, surprisingly I think I only ever actually played runequake once or twice, I will definitely have to load up and get fragging some time. It's cool to hear that engines are still being worked on.

    Hi OMK
I hope all is well. From what i can see people haven't really changed their style of play very much while you've been away but single player maps are quite popular at the moment (check out Arcane dimensions and the various map jams) and there are a few new engines on the scene (e.g. Mark V, QuakeSpasm Spiked etc). Of course multiplayer RuneQuake is still being played over at quake.shmack.net, and the QRF servers are still up over in europe.
    I hope this helps

    Kind regards
    Monty

Howdy gamers, how has everybody been these past ??? years (was I last here 10 years ago? maybe).

I recently got back into quake through a new PC and the remasters, how are people playing these days and are there any notable significant changes to how people play?
