All that plus Windows XP, wow! I'm particularly envious of the enormous hard drive capacity you have.

Now you can try Tenebrae and see if you have the first computer that can actually run that at a decent framerate :d

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

        wow Solecord, nice rig!

I'm workn a 900Mhz 384MB ram with integrated video right now, WinQuake gets me 12 FPS, ProQuake crashes (both 3.50 and 3.67) and Qrack gives me 1.7 FPS with everything as low as possible heh

My work computer is MUCH better (avg 300 FPS on Qrack in high detail), nothin compared to your listed specs though, bastard!

I priced out top of the time and it woulda cost me about $1500-$2000 more. Dual 8800's woulda been another $800+ by itself.

I was thinking of getting the WD Raptor drives for the 10,000 RPM's but lots of reviews say they are really noisy so I opt'ed for the 320gb 7200 RPM drives.

So far the computer is a beast compared to my old Dell 2GHz, 512 MB RAM, lol. Computer booted in less than 30 secoonds compared to my old one of almost a couple minutes (to fully load).

Raptor drives aren't loud. They're actually pretty quiet. Although it is a waste of money.

I wouldn't call it noisy. It is a bit louder than normal when reading data. On startup I don't hear them at all. I think my case fan is louder that that.

Waste of money?? No way. That is so far from the truth. Performace is impeccable. By far one of the best investments I've made.

I will find you... it's only a matter of time.
