Not all of the quake easter eggs were actually easter eggs. But they listed a few:

          Secret Credits Room

          Dopefish
          Big Ol' "Q" Shadow
          Nine Inch Nails Logo

          hmmmm.. a bug they say?
          Correction for Nightmare Mode

You should check the video games section: http://www.eeggs.com/tree/563.html

There is almost every single game there. Very nice to look for things you didn't know in your other games!

60% of theses "easter eggs" in the video games section are NOT easter eggs at all :/

That's not true... there are a lot of awesome eggs... just a few aren't. Also, go to the main page. There are easter eggs on applications like Word, Excel 95 (the doom-like game "Hall of Tortured Souls") and more.

Ok quick side note about firefox bugs, if you look at joao's animated gif at the 1st post the skulls are moving very fast, if you scroll down a bit and c*s's gif is drawn also joao's gif slows down... scroll all the way down again and just view joao's and the gif speeds up... hmm silly firefox how hard can animated gifs be to draw..???

<--- post 888 lol (darn i missed post 666 somewhere)

Might be your computer, I couldn't replicate it.

I'm using IE7 and neither of them slow down for me.

It's just Snipers avatar takes so freaking long to load and while its doing that its lagging up the page when I scroll up or down.

well this is after the page has loaded ,

                          2.17ghz Sempron/2gigs ram geforce 6600gt running firefox 2.0.0.11

when i view it in EI it scrolls smooth then pauses at the end of the loop, but the speed is consistent. Maybe Firefox reads gif frame timings differently, or theres no timing between frames on that gif and it runs at a global time slice that is determined by number of gifs visible, either way, i'd say its a behavior bug where's the source! hehe jk

Sometimes I notice my animated signature acting a little strange but those times are rare. I had to block spooker's avatar long ago because it was pornographic
