Yea, it's nice when you send the pet to do the dirty work while you want to loot or skin.

Early on I put points into "Hawk Eye" then the rest in "Beast Mastery" as you level. That way you can still put out damage without pulling aggro from your pet.

Yea Sole, Hunter is "EZ Mode".

You can always make alternate characters and see which one appeals to you more. I simply like the "Undead" characters for their racials.

I will find you... it's only a matter of time.

yeah, i may pick WoW back up when the expansion comes out here in a few months.

        and since EVERYone chooses Horde...

        for the Alliance.

Orcs suck nuts, Tauren smell like fetilizer, Forsaken arent as cool as the Scourge, and Blood Elves are ghey.

        Trolls are cool, though.

don't knock it before you try it Mindz.

World of Warcraft has A LOT more going for it then Quake 1 ever had, except maybe in the department of mods or expansions.

Quake 1 has become so stagnant that its hard to get a few consecutive great games going before some type of bullshit starts to sturr or untill 90% of the crowd migrated to another mod.

But if you're asking whats up with all these Quakers playing WoW now, thats almost like saying,

"Why did you pick something else from the McDonald's menu this time?" Because people don't like eating burgers non-stop.

If you got the time for it though, I've been thinking about reactivating my account and playing it again, I'd be glad to show you around, unless you're using your game time playing "Magic" which is also an intresting game, just not up to my level of fun for hours kinda game play.

Think of WoW kind of like Quake on a massive scale with items and actual missions, you can team up with 5,10,20,50, 100 other players and literally invade the other half of the world

in Quake its like instant gratification, in WoW its like long term satisfaction I believe.

Also, why hasn't there been a auto skin downloader for Quake yet? We can auto download maps but thats it? It would be awesome if in CA you could play Cyborgs vs marines or some type of weird mixup, but just Quakeguy in blue armor vs quakeguy in yellow armor, it just reems, repetitive, old and pretty much played out these days, I play Quake for nostalgia, I play newer games (not many) for entertainment with my free time.

All in all, I've found myself playing my Xbox360 more then any PC game, GTA IV is without a dout the best game out right now, to bad WoW probably won't be showing up on the next-gen consoles, even though Final Fantasy XI is out for the 360, oh well, in the end, they're all just games, something someone does to literally kill time without noticing it, unless you're pro, then you get paid

When you want somthing more challenging, leave a post.

Most people start off with a PVE server and find that it's simply not enough and want more. Then they roll on a PVP server.

                        Tip for just starting off.

Early levels, loot EVERYTHING and sell it. That's the only way to keep up with the cost of buying your new talents until you can make a profit from the AH and from instances. I usually start off with Mining when I can afford it, and skinning. Sell Copper Ore and skins.

If you get into any deep involvement with the AH, buying low and selling high, I can turn you on to a mod that helps keep track of that kind of thing. Completely allowed by Blizzard.

                        Lates.

I will find you... it's only a matter of time.

Thanks for the tips. I'm currently lvl 31. I started off as skinning and sold just about everything I looted. Once I got to the AH I started selling everything there. I'm not deeply involved in it in terms of buying low/selling high but I do sell everything there just under what the average rate is for. I've been making a killing selling off Wool Cloth. Lately I've also been working on building up my Leathercrafting since I basically ignored it until recently. I've been selling Embossed Leather Vests I've made from skins I've picked up... mainly around 1.2gold a piece, and it cost me basically nothing to make

I haven't had a problem with gold until now. When I turned lvl 31 and went to the AH to look at upgrading some equipment, lots of the real good rings and armors that I could use were like 50-100 gold

And ya, I wanted to start off on a PvE because I remember when I was playing the PvP with Phenom and C*S that's all that happened was lvl 70's camping the starting towns and killing the beginning levelers. I wanted to learn and enjoy the game before I attempted to get into the PvP stuff.

Question: any recommendations for a good pet? I never bothered trying to tame a second pet. I've stuck with my lone boar pet! heh

Well I'm guilty. I have an alt that I play when and if I have spare time. I'm level 39 on my hunter and I still use my faithful Boar. However, a site that's been a good source of info that I use on many raid fights, group makeup, talent builds ect, would be www.wowwiki.com.

Specifically for you: Hunter Guide & Hunter Pets

So far, I find that going with the Beast Mastery Tree is the best overall leveling that you can have. It's also one of the better raiding trees to go into.

I like Beast Mastery because my pet is my shield and ass long as they mob stays on them, the more damage I can deal without them turning for me.

This is what my talents look like so far. Clicky Talent Build

Anyways, I'll be gone for a week starting Saturday. Vacation time!

Anything else I may be able to help with, just let me know.

I will find you... it's only a matter of time.
