...Reminds me that I need to go watch the first Evil Dead film. I've only seen the 2nd and 3rd.

I hear the first one isn't quite as "goofy" as the later two. Is this true?

The first one was serious but funny, the second funny but serious, and the third funny/funny. Or something like that.
