I also stumbled upon this video explaining that the Mahnamahna song originally came from a softcore exploitation flick.

Few people know that the muppet song Mahnamahna was taken from the 1968 softcore exploitation flick "Svezia - Inferno e Paradiso" (Sweden - Heaven and Hell). This is the clip from the 90' movie with the original song by Piero Umiliani.
