Do you like where the world is headed?

My answer ... I think we are living in unusual and exceptionally eventful times. Times so extraordinary that no one is untouched or unmoved by them.
The world economy sucks, we all face difficult choices, the world is changing (Egypt, Libya, the US, Europe, China, etc.). Technology and communication continue to evolve in head-spinning fashion. In the USA, several states are being forced to make difficult budget cuts facing multi-billion $$$ deficits ... I mean Texas is trying to fill a $25 billion gap. College students are facing a crappy job market.
At times it can seem like the world is going to hell in a handbasket ... yet, at the same time, you see people who at first reluctantly rise to challenge and grow.
They are strange times. Times of uncertainty. But if you believe in the human spirit, people adapt and grow.
I think we might be living in possibly the most contentious times in the history of the world. But I personally believe humans adapt and grow to meet the challenges ... far better than an extend period of fat, lazy, easy times.
