I do agree with that. Having him buried would result in both a shine and also chaos (I know many Americans would love to piss on that grave).
I was however partially bothered that no "confirmation" photos were released. There's many photoshops out there already. The civilians deserve to see him dead. Just a single image, because as bad as it sounds - it's partially "heresay"

I always thought Osama would die of old age or bad health. It was a nice surprise to find out that they got him. I like how to the body was "buried" (dumped) in the ocean as to avoid a place that could be used a shrine or whatever by extremists.
