You got 1.5 gigs of ram though. I'd like to see you run Photoshop CS, Bryce 5 and some high end game on 512 megs of ram. It takes a good minute and a half for America's Army to load for me when I have Homesite+ and Winamp open at the same time.... AA is a memory hog...

Yeah, I hope it's just a memory leak issue. My system tray is KLEEN bish. Just sound and the time!!
(does time take up memory? *disables that*)

Mac Quaker in the house !!!

At home I work and play on a Apple Powerbook 15" running Tiger

          G4 processor at 867mhz
          1 GB RAM
          40GB HD (shucks!) + 80GB external + 120GB external
          DVD 8x RW/CD 48x RW
ATI whatever 32MB (vomit bag, please)

It's a nice machine but it's getting old...

At work I use a Apple Powermac G5 running Tiger (OS X 10.4)

          Dual G5 2.3Ghz
          2 GB RAM
          250GB Serial ATA; 7200 rpm
          DVD 16x RW/CD 52x RW
NVIDIA GeForce 6600 with 256MB of GDDR SDRAM

          That feels much better.

Not too many Mac Quakers left

As far as I can tell, it's you, Ronin -- who dropped in a couple of weeks ago and JohnXMas. The Mac Quake downloads here have only been used 11 times grand total so far.

I had hoped it would be more than that, even most of the QuakeC source codes have been downloaded with greater frequency.

I might get a Mac Mini later this year or early next year and see if I can make more things for Mac users (I have some ideas for some slight modifications to the Intel/Power PC OS/X GL Quake).
Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

If I recall, Napoleon was on a Mac, but I haven't seen him in a while...

Most Mac Quakers already have Mac Quake installed, and since there are no updates, I guess it explains the low downloads...

Now what would be friggin awesome: JoeQuake for Mac OS X !!
