I'm not trying to pry into anyone's bness. I was just curious about what you guys do to afford your quake habit. I'll share... I quit college after two years of partying (and a GPA of something like 0.4 haha and a VERY STERN conversation with my father!) and started a cultured marble company in '96. Oddly enough, the same year quake came out. I didn't get a lot of sleep those first couple of years, but I burned one, mellowed out, and here I am, 16 years later, still making marble tops and still playing QUAKE! Turns out I knew a little something about running a startup. Marketing skills were a big plus, but I still didn't see, or wasn't prepared for, the crash in the housing market in '08 - '09. (Damn Bubbles, I wasn't prepared for that one) Maybe a college education could've seen that comming but I don't think so! This industry is very closely tied to the housing industry. Re-models have sustained my business. I ventured out into the concrete counter top market (thank you HGTV and my wife) this past year and it seems to be a wide open market! Hope Floats!
