  • Microsoft Keyboards ROCK

The other day i spilled BEER all over my keyboard.

1st thing i did was turn it over and detached it from the power source, then left it for 2 days to dry. Afterwards some keys were hard to press. but after removing the keys i found that by design it was made so leaks wouldnt get into the ""circuits". ALL I can say is thank you M$ for a reliable (BEER FRIENDLY) $30 kb! Gates you got that right!

BTW MS made the 1st MS_PAD not apple. Tablet PCs were B.Gate's venture and Apple deterred.

I'm sure it was unintentional. their next round of KBs will no longer be so durable.

Their keyboards are durable and reliable at least in last 15 years, and people are talking that "their next generation will be worse" for all this time.
I'm using MS Natural ergonomic keyboards since 2002, and can't say they become any worse.

MS hardware is generally absolutely excellent. It's one thing they've always gotten right.

jakub agree. we can think various things about ms software :-), but their keyboards are reliable. i've been having sidewinder x4 for some years now and even though i treat it bad sometimes it's still 100% perfect piece of hardware.

Xerox actually had the PC and mouse long before anyone else but never brought it to market.
They were scared of taking any more market share at the time, believe it or not.

That's just evil. Those keys are so important - keyboard manufacturers who fuck with them don't get my money.

Sensible arrow key layout is crucial too. And the space bar. Worst keyboard I ever had was one with the space bar split in 2, that was nasty in so many ways.

the wife's keyboard is squished inward like a laptops arrangement, I detest it. I'm pretty sure she dont like it either hah.

when I try using it, I end up over reaching with my fingers.

I'm pretty sure that all modern keyboards have the rubber/plastic sleeve under the keys. I'm using a 15$ logitech keyboard and it has the "moisture guard"

I apologize if this is a silly question, but what is a logitech keyboard?

                            Thank you for the answer.
