Well how about play CAx?? Runequake is for those who enjoy killing you from abroad without seeing their victim. Death traps and radiation etc etc.. Thats not skill thats just pure laziness. The only skill involved is trying to avoid these traps and catch the person(s) responsible, otherwise its just another day on the office.

Though you spawn with ALL weapons in CA, the weapons in CAx are Quake standard. (Except the LG in water, it short-circuits and just blows up in hand.)

RuneQuake is as close to normal Quake as Super Mario Brothers is to Doom.
If you want Normal (multiplayer) Quake connect to a CRMOD server and type NORMAL in the console. 16 player FFA DM.

The problem with NORMAL is that it's so old no one really plays it.
I remember playing at the 'netdoor' server 24/7 ffa dm woot!

How much like quake is CAx? and by quake I mean.. Quake. Just pure Quake, the way it is setting up a DM game out of the box.
