I've tried multiple ranges on both my DSL modem and Linksys router.

Ironically I find the sweet spot when I set the MTU to 1492 on both modem/router.. I spent a whole day working on this just to realize... AT&T drops the balls everywhere and their internet service just sucks no-matter how many days you spend analyzing and tweaking your settings.

Setting the MTU to anything lower causes faster ping time but lower signal quality(drop packets, chopping, lagging) so while I could knock 10 off my ping I would just chop & lag harder.

Have you ever tried manually setting router/modem MTU for a better connection?

Get RuM to host it or something. Also for all their slick gimmicks the actual server box admin interface is wide open to access along with like 10 open ports on the game box.
    including ftp and telnet,
I would find another host if it were me.
Hmm i will contact them and further look into it. They changed data centers a few months back. The other host in the area AOW/ Art Of War is on the same lines. Again ill call them and ask them whats going on.. Btw you have centurylink and my dad does to and e pings 30-40 to my server. Im almost certain your routing is shit. NP poppyc0ck is in miami and pings 40.. So the claim that its the servers host is hard for me to know who it really is.
