I think you guys need third parties in there, and I can't understand why you always vote for the same two parties who keep fucking you over.

As Mindzy said, our 2 parties are essentially coded into law in all 50 states. Limiting our choices, which sucks a lot. Ron Paul has several ideas of merit, as an example. Instead we get corporation-approval candidates.

You guys in Europe have something we don't actually have here, called "Representative government". Sure we have representatives, except our population has grown greatly since the 1800s and each politician instead of representing a few thousand represents a few-hundred thousand.

So we have universally bad "customer service" due to a bad representative to volume ratio.

Still, we don't have terrorists or those that wish to subvert our way of life living freely amongst us like you guys do. Democrat and Republican alike would exempt those people from "civil liberties" which is why Obama keeps Gitmo open despite being in charge of it. [and ordered the Navy to kill Somali pirates and execute Osama, etc]
