What does it mean to be "politically correct"? I think that almost everybody is politically correct. As long as you are not an extreme socialist or a fascist, I think that you are politically correct.
I am independent. Some of my views lean to the left and some of my views lean to the right. I am very tolerant. A greener environment, universal health care, helping the middle class, legalizing gay marriages... I support those views. But I also have some conservative preferences. I prefer two-tiered systems (example: public schools and private schools). Gun control? I don't support that idea any more. If I do not want to own a gun, I will not buy a gun. But if my neighbor wants to buy a gun, I do not have a problem with that.
