Galveston TX was pretty nice. I just came back from a 5 day vacation there. Unfortunately Pleasure Pier is only open on the weekends so I missed that(expecting it to be open "regularly" but I still had a blast!
I drove to Bryan TX and Houston TX to get there from Oklahoma.
Also if you're looking for a neat gift shop check out Murdoch's north of Pleasure Pier on Seawall blvd.
It was nice since the whole city is an island!

I am back! Did not have time for either unfortunately. Was down there for my sister and with only 1 day left to spend with her she wanted to eat at hard rock so we ate there. Having seen my family suffur through bill millers bbq makes me appreciate the Smokestack restaraunt close to me in mass. They have some of the best bbq I've personally ever had although i knows theres better out there. They serve Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, ribs, chicken, and a bunch of sides and its all good.
Wicked you got to get to mass sometime man.Take a long haul!

If you have a Sonny's BBQ in your area, more then likely you have pulled pork. But Sonny's sucks compared to 90% of the home grown BBQ joint's around the country. Me being the owner of a trucking business and a driver, I find some good places to eat brah

Hmm.
Texas likes brisket as their 'go to' bbq of choice.
You won't find pulled pork until you start getting close to the Louisiana line. My wife is from 'bama and I notice that most of the southern (Lousiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia) bbq joints have more pork than beef.
Of course, brisket is a Texas specialty and if you do find it outside of this state, it's generally not done as well since other states do not have an abundance of Mesquite trees to properly smoke them with.
Also, wicked is right. The County Line in SA is pretty good for a chain - they have some excellent beef ribs, and their sauce is super. If any of you happen to make it to Austin, I'd suggest going to the Salt Lick - damn near the best bbq in the state.

Cool deal, appreciate her services..
Been to San Antonio quite a few times, pretty interesting city. You will enjoy it while you can bro..
While you are there, if you like BBQ food man, you gotta go try 'County Line BBQ' it's extremely good and highly recommended..
