Train starts in Shelby, Ky and runs through Eastern Kentucky, Southwest Virginia, and East Tennessee, ending in Kingsport, Tn. I believie this will be the 70th year it's ran. I'm not very big on snow and ice, but last year Christmas in Ohio was 60 degrees. The year before wasn't so warm, but for sure wasn't winter feeling. I hope we get some snow in Ohio around Christmas because honesty I think it has been half a decade since a snowy Christmas (although involved ice storm from hell).

I think of this because it is hard to recall Christmas songs that give holiday feel when it has been a while since a truly winter-like Christmas.

[However, I recall ultra-cold 2009 January of sub-zero Fahrenheit temperatures and that was --- not very ideal.]
