YES I KNOW SO SHUT UP!

I have a white wallpaper. Is there ANY way to get desktop icons to have black text instead of white, so I can actually read them? The only way I've found is to disable wallpaper and use a white background colour. But if I put the wallpaper back on, the text goes white again.

    I HATE WINXP!

Right click My Computer, choose Properties, choose the Advanced tab, click "Settings" by Performance, under Visual Effects choose Custom and unselect "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop".

My bosses boss had this issue during our XP roll out, that's why I know the answer, and about a billion other XP solutions... %#^#
