All-Star CTF

I wasn't able to find any Allstar CTF threads, do we have any here?

I very much did like that whole Allstart where players got to pick from any of the Quake episodes, Deathmatch levels, Threewave CTF 1 and 2, Thunderwalker, and so on all from the start level.

The idea of a server running all of the CTF maps under that framework was very appealing to me back in the day, and it still is now.

We play ClanRingCTF now, no runes, no pent, 3wave/id maps... straight poker.

Connect to ctf.clanhdz.com (or quake.crctf.com) and type COMMANDS in the console. There u can find the WARP command that lets anyone vote for a map change, among other options.

I take it the answer is no then; that makes me sad, I liked all the quake variables, especially the runes. Still, good info, thank you very much.

In a couple months I'm looking at having a barbecue and then sitting the guests (whom mostly play MODERN FPS and never touched Quake a day in their lives) down for some All-Star CTF for comedic results. Plans are tentative at best right now but it's always good to look to the future.

crctf CAN host the same ol 3wave with runes and all the settings u remmeber.
just nothing like thunderwalker's wonky weapons. Most coders back then got carried away with "hey look at this" an didnt think about balanced gameplay.
it was all runequake meets CTF gayness. imhoo if all u wanna do is push a button and gib peeps, watch a movie or frag frikbots. too many powerups off balance skill.

Is there a DL link for crctf itself? I don't see one anywhere on qracks site and the DL links there are all broken.
