Don't worry. Soon as Vis gets back we can move on to 2v1's.

    Baby steps, brah.

This year, 1v1 is the new 3v3.

I play where people are, when enough CTF players show up we go play. So far only Muller and I play e2m2 on occasion.

I havent played quake in awhile. Mainly been playnig ps3 since all anyone wants to do is play the same 6 players in dm anymore. I would ctf again, but it feels like all the ctfers are more interested in the slow moving and boring dm mod.

i have the same issue, it was set to 2 default, now if i set to 0 then 1 it fixes the "brightness" until i relaunch quake or switch between quake and windows then it goes back to same problem. gamma is always at .5, however like i mentioned in private message correcting the issue is done by switching to .4 then back to .5, now a different switching will fix it. setting vid_hwgammacontrol to 0 then 1

    Hmm, thought I did.

Try using vid_hwgammacontrol 0 (1 or 2), obv enabled it will effect the desktop gamma or other monitors connected. Setting 0 lets software emulate gamma control which might be a bit slower, but wont effect the gamma outside the game...
If you use vid_hwgammacontrol 0 then u can adjust the brightness with the contrast cvar.
