If your goal is to see players' weapons on the public servers, I'll have to say that it won't be possible. Since the regular player model is axe/gun only, the server wouldn't know about extra weapons in your local custom player model, and thus you wouldn't see these "new" weapons.

If you're hosting a server yourself, then you'll have a chance at accomplishing it, but everyone you want to connect will need the custom player model.

Is there any mod which enables viewing an enemy weapon in multiplayer?
And please give me a short guide for installing customized player skin under darkplace.
