MPLAYER Friday Fight Night

Hi Everyone,

A couple guys on our team had been talking a lot of smack about who is better at Quake 1. So in the wake of getting you guys set back up on Mplayer, this Friday a few of our staff are having a brief tournament to determine who is best and to both demo our servers as well as our event hosting ability.

It will be set up for in game observation and it will be streamed on twitch.

Mindfieldzx, the NEW client is not ready for release yet. Currently, you can download the other one @ http://mplayer.co/download-mplayer.html.

Right now the game launching system does not work fully, but everything else does. We will be making a room to watch the match via room URL. The room will have full audio and chat capabilities.

If you want to be part of the show, get another team member and we will 2 on 2 LIVE on Mplayer. Register and download the client. We will be in the "General chat" lobby in the "FIGHT NIGHT" Room (Trophy Room) Friday @ 9PM. You can talk with any of the Mplayer staff (has special icon next to name) and they will point you in the right direction. Bring all of your friends and tell them not to forget the popcorn.

Once the NEW Mplayer client is completed, we will have our own platform that will integrate all of this together.
