I agree; those avatars are very original. I actually laughed at some of those avatars (but it was a friendly laugh). I laughed because I was amazed and satisfied.

From v2 to v3 you seem to change your style a little bit.
It almost looks like you started to use "higer res".

v5 doesnt have the big mustache.
Fortunately v6 has it again

v8:a "what if" of sorts. what if the marine was possessed by the runes he carries, and became a demon in his own right? would he continue on his quest to save humanity, or be consumed by the whispering voices?

I know they are avatars, but I wish there were bigger proofs, so you could really check them out. It's not very easy to really see your work on such a small scale.

hello all! its been a while since i bothered to post anything, but i still lurk once in a while!

anyway, ive decided to finally make a contribution of sorts to the quake community by posting all of my quario avatars. while i dont even use them much anymore, i still enjoy making them. enjoy!


v1:the first! based the color scheme of of ranger from q3


v2: changed the scheme to red, to give it more pop. fixed the belt, reshaped a bit


v3:reshaped everything, added a slew of detail to most aspects of the character.


v4:being a fan of the dc comics crossover "brightest day", i reskined quario into a member of the white lanterns


v5:playing batman arkham origins, i saw how richly detailed the character deathstroke was, so i decided to apply his concepts to quario. this one explodes with detail.


v6:this one was one i wanted to do for a while, but never could start right. thankfully i finally got it right! doomguyario!


v7:a back to basics, of sorts. i fleshed out new detail into v3 to create the defining vision of my avatar.

v9: i saw the new capt america movie a while back, so i figured, why not?


v9.5: a reskin of v9, this recolors capt america to give him a stealthier look.


v10: a modified suit created to survive extreme environments


v11: i redefined v7, to give this version a "powered armor" feel. i also re-added camo, which hasn't been seen since v3. (no idea why i ever removed it in the first place)
