Well, dial-up sucks. So I decided to lan against frogbots.

I like adding 15 FrogBot and setting them on the lowest skill level and seeing if I can hit 80 or 100 frags in 5 minutes, heh.

Are they smart enough to jump over the lava in START?

They have waypoints and don't really run on any maps with lava traps (or buttons --- or doors).

Supported maps are maps like DM6, DM4, DM3 and Aerowalk, with DM6 and Aerowalk being the ones I play vs. the bots with the greatest frequency.

They are good target practice and it isn't bad for FFA practice.

i used to play dm6 with frogbots on 200 skill and lookcheat activated as practice for aim and dodging.
Sometimes we would play dm3 with same settings and it would be a 4 vs 4 with one human on each side. That was sorta fun too.
I noticed that on dm3 that they would drown if you didn't have the skill settings high. If you set it high they would actually jump out of the water.

geeez..... i tried my old settings tonight on dm6, 200 skill ... and got totally owned, lol... i guess i'm outa practice...
i then played a match on skill 100 and won 10 to 1.... but it was quite boring, lol...

I want to play Clan Arena (X or +) Versus Client Side Bot's (Frogbot maybe?I dunno....) Can anyone hook me up?

You wouldn't want to play Clan Arena against bots, it would suck. Bots have no concept of strategy. They can do DM ok because DM is a constant run around for items (health, armor, weapons, quad).

And if you set the bot skill too high, they will be shooting you around corners.

This download is good for DM bots FFA-style on maps DM3/DM6 and works with ProQuake just fine:
