We should take more group pics. Some GOOD ones. Maybe on Christmas, we could get like a bunch of players, and put them in a pyramid. Then change all of them to green, and some of them to red. So it would look like a christmas tree, lol.

I watched that preview. It will be nice to see when they get the final one done.
A nice shot was when 15 Quake players were standing 5 wide and 3 players tall on DM4.

I think that what Baker means is whatever you used to make the demo,
you can use Joequake or Qrack (albiet some others) to record an .avi with better gfx to showcase your movie... I think that more people have an avi viewer than the engine you used to record it.
But, truely you are looking forwebspace not a movie format.... gl.

This isn't true at all.
You can easily turn a .dem file into a demo using JoeQuake or QRack.
Making a Quake Movie 101 or, in fact, with any Quake client using FRAPS --> Chuck's Quake Video Tutorial
Here is a simple Quake video I made 3 years ago just using the JoeQuake make AVi feature:

That video requires the xVID codec.
The first RQP movie is more then 4years old !!! + it was on the faq of the Frags done extreme site way back. (check download section for the first little movie,Blueyonder UK link still works)
