  • Wolfenstein The New Order - The Old Blood

During black friday I've purchased these 2 games on Steam for few dollars. I liked them a lot, the only disappointing feature was that crappy checkpoint save system.

I liked them both a lot too, especially Old Blood. Secrets to find, non-linear maps, and Wolf-3D levels to test my memory of secrets. Do want more.

I really liked it too. I should get The Old Blood. It did a really good job of combining new good fps features with old good fps features. Alternate fire, mild upgrading, some puzzles, story driven, nonlinear and still totally balls out action with a little tongue in cheek humor. Nailed it.

Wonderful games, always been a fan of the Wolfenstein games.
I hope Machine Games get to do another one.

Formally Starbreeze devs who made Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay.
Wow.. 2004 doesn't seem that long ago...
Also, I should play through Dark Athena some time.

Meh, I liked the gameplay but I was pretty disappointed with TNO unskippable "interactive cutscenes" as I call them, basically hindering future playthrougs.

Yes, you're right, I was driven to insanity when I had to replay for the 800000th time the cutscene before the fight with the 2 robots at uber difficulty.

I also liked this game, really well done. Absolutely agree with Amon26. Just when I started to believe all new FPS games suck, this one proved me wrong.

I'll get The Old Blood next time it's on sale.
