@JDS
My ps2 is chipped already but it is an old Raptor chip, I am on the lookout for a a slim in good condition so I can have a go with a modbo 4.0.
I would try out the network adaptor and HD but they never released it for Aus Pal ps2 machines so I would have to import an ntsc fat and the network adaptor.
I will track down Dominator, I didn't realise they released it for the ps2, I have it for the psp.
I love Split Second on the 360 & psp, shame they didn't do a ps2 port too.
Re: FPS with Aliens, I just picked up Unreal for $2 on the Steam sale, I own a big box version somewhere but it's just easier to find on Steam.
Unreal2 is on sale and I guess the old AvP games are going cheap too. They were kinda scary/not kid friendly in their day but now they appear too lo-fi/lo-res.
Picked up Kingpin which I also own as a boxed version but I fancied a re-run. I highly recommend it for $5 but just for the language alone, it is not kid friendly.
It's probably one of the best uses of the Q2 engine out there.
@Zop have you tried Human Resource Simulator or infinifactory? My son is good at them but my brain ain't wired that way. Sounds like you might like them tho'
