I wouldn't suggest this if I had not done it already, I even BOUGHT a Bilco Cantenna, but you don't even need to invest much. My first cantenna I built out of a pringles can and it worked great.

Holy shit! Internet connection out of a Pringles box, this is pure awesomeness! Anyway, I've been considering for a while whether to sacrifice 20€ from my meager monthly allowance to get an ADSL box. I might do just that as I'm not much of a tinkerer. Of course things would be much smoother if I managed to get a job...
