Also, at the moment we're fixing up the jsh2colour program (included with Hammer of Thyrion) for generating H2 lit files. We should have an improved windows exe up soon for testing. Is anyone interested ?

does that means we can rebuild all the lightmaps with higher detail?
If lordhavoc won't be supporting Hexen2 in darkplaces that is a sad thing, but you coders can work hard to get all the DP graphic features in your engines

I assume the links to those maps are nowhere to be found, same as the most Hexen 2/Heretic 2 maps. Year back I was searching web for several days, but nothing, the only maps for Hexen 2 were Fortress of four door add-on and some small multiplayer map-pack. Few days ago I was looking for The Heretic Fortress and some maps, but nothing as usual

Bloodbat: in menu "Misc" you can disable interpolation.
May be you do some with difficulty, when you started game at paladin?

Damn I didn't see it there...
However the animations look fine to me...
Since I was too lazy and sort of busy to do the whole game again, I did a quick map with every monster (except for the Riders, Eidolon (these for obvious reasons to anyone that's mapped for Hexen 2) and the monsters from the expansion pack) to check their animations, they look fine to me...and they sort of behave normally.
It's not pretty, a number of textures are misaligned and it doesn't even include a single light, so it's quite visible but it serves it's purpose and also includes a number of weird things like the amazing rotating prism (look ma! No supports at all), the incredible drowning spider (takes a swan dive from a wall) and the miraculous walking on water wizard (I didn't know they did that! How...biblical? ); it also includes some particle and fx generators for eyecandy/testing and a rotating door; you can download it from this post, if anyone is interested; I can also upload the quark source if someone wants it.
It's not designed to be really played and survived, the weapons are there but the load of monsters and the way they are combined is QUITE difficult and unfair, plus, there are no power ups at all (except for said weapons), I recommend god and Impulse 9, everything can be killed, including the glass golem (push the button in the golem room) and the snake (just walk in the room and fire away when it wakes).
I might get off my ass and try and do bosses maps and include expansion monsters; but, extrapolating what I saw with the regular monsters, they should animate fine too.

Oh yeah.. HoT has a better "Scale" slider in the main options now. It's nothing major... just smoothly scales menu+console+HUD fonts. Antialiasing still isn't perfect though. See Index of /devel for beta binaries.
