Built a little app to help make developing maps for HexenII easier using Worldcraft3.3 and *cough* newer editors. It converts version 220 map files into the old format, which can then be compiled using any utils available. Currently texture lock for rotation/mirroring is rather broken due to differences in file format, but as long as one sticks to a best practice of doing rotations and flips manually, it should all be fine. (Move lock, and almost all other alignment options are functional)
Does anyone find a tool like this to be useful? I know there is a bsp compiler for Quake1 which can interpret v220 files, but I didn't find anything similar which works for HexenII. I'd be interested in getting some feedback on this.
