    yes, i know there is a specific forum for dukeHRP but as yet I've had no joy with this issue there, and I know some of you guys play the duke hrp and wondered if you knew of this issue;

    the pistol doesn't work the same!
    It doesn't fire anywhere near a true as it did in the old build engine.
    I distinctly remembered taking out laser turrets and flying troopers at extreme range with pin-point accuracy, yet, in hrp, this is no-more!
    what gives?

    and yes I do have autoaim on.

    any help or insights into this would be greatly appreciated.
    hrp has been kind of labeled dead in the water now that dnf is finally on the way but there are some of us who still indulge in a little classic dukular activtiy every now and again...

    Read Eduke32 release notes, I can't say for sure, but I remember a lot of bugs were fixed from the original game, many that impact gameplay.

    It could be that variable accuracy was coded into the original Duke3D and just never worked, and that the Eduke32 port fixes that.
