  • OSJC's UAC crosshair for zDooM

ok, not that exciting I know but worth a shove in your direction I suppose!
    get some...
to use it simply run zDooM with -file osjc_zDooM_xhair2.zip added to the command line!

oh yeah, you'll need to select cross2 in the menu, of course!

    pic

pointless, I know, but I've just got this thing about the crosshairs in games matching the game logo!

thats quite awquard as it happens...
you see, it uses a hud.wad by an unknown author and I have added an invisible bar and custom face (from mutiny.wad) into my custom .zip
I tried using both in the same file but it conflicts badly
BUT, when I run the wad first then my zip on the command line, this is the result!
          I'll upload both soon...

Theres bound to be a better way to do it but .wads constantly bamboozle me! LOL

            Hello osjclatchford,

I dont know if I understood your issue with the 2 wad´s correctly.
            You know, my english....

But as far as I understood, you use 2 wad´s at the moment.
This will most likely end up in chaos.
What you want to do is edit the wad´s:
Open one wad and extract the content you like.
Then open the second wad and overwrite the unneeded content with the ones you extracted before and save it.
There are nice wad edit programs out there.

In this way you will have one wad with all the beauty inside.

If this was not your issue, I am sorry for my misunderstanding.

            Kind regards,
            Seven

yeah, Its just some are .pk3, some are .wad and some plain ol' .zip
the hud uses parts from both files simultaneously but never correctly when joined (WTF eh!?)
              I've got wad software and have tried compiling 'em over and over in varying endless configurations but It still conflicts when compiled so I run all my wads/zips independantly, that way you have a huge command line but you can at least choose the order in which they load and, of course it actually works! LOL thus;

OSJC-hud for Zaratul... and anyone else for that matter!
              loading instructions in the readme...

              enjoy... or not!

              regards
              Latchford
