a great map for "lava-lovers" is sm25_aard, a speed map with 200 monsters (and lots of lava)

environment hazards add an element of challenge to a map, so itīs a welcome variation.

I wish every site had such a good guide section I have learned a lot from your guides. sometimes I do tend to ask a question then find out it was in a guide I overlooked. Which is common of me because I have severe case of ADD (explaining this thread)

Anyway I really like how patient you are with the members and passionate you are with the site. I think I will stick around a while. I will always be a noob (compared with anyone else). But that doesn't mean I can't like the game

Oh btw, if you feel the need, the thread's kinda run its course for me. I had my fun so you can close it if you so wish. hopefully next time I make a thread I won't be so high on happy pills.

I think we all sucked at Quake at first.

Read some of the stuff in the guides section. It helps. Not as much as getting some personal training from a strong player on 26002 or a CRMOD server, but it's pretty helpful stuff.
