old new levels...

I found a cd called "Eternal Darkness, 100 new levels for Quake" and i can't get it to load... (looks like an older dos disc...) Is there a way to set up a Folder on my Quake on C and load part of this into it to play these 100 levels..?

I am not sure of the setup process. I looked at a shareware version of this I found and it appears it is a series of mods that can be loaded using a batch file and also a batch file to load the maps. So basically all you would need to do is place the mods folder in your root quake folder. Then place the MAPS folder also in your quake root folder. Then place the batch files in your root quake folder. Then you should be able to run them by typing the name of the mod when the batch file asks for it. That should be all that is necessary to install it. It also includes the source code and such but you won't need to concern yourself with that stuff.

So in conclusion: Place the folders in:

c:\quake\
the above assumes you have quake installed in c: and on windows.
Also place the batch files that are included in the utils folder on the cd in the above folder as well. Then just run them and follow instructions. Lemme know if you need any more help.

The batch files load maps from ..\maps\mapname.bsp? If they just load mapname.bsp, then the maps folder should be in the id1 folder.
