Update: I tried the WickedGL. Apparently WickedGL only supports Voodoo2/Banshee and newer. Ah well.

yo.. go to www.zipzoomfly.com They have good deals on computer shit and no tax. I was looking at buying new computer.. 1 or 3ghz (cant member) for about 400$ thats with new case and everything new except my video/sound card. But the motherboard comes with a videocard so i didn't need it. So it would be basically new everything.

    I have PCI gfx cards.

Unfortunately this system has an ATI 2d card hardwired to the motherboard with no way to disable it. So for me and accelerated 3d it's Voodoo or bust.

I had a 900mhz Compaq that broke down under warranty a couple years ago and Compaq gave me the shaft over that one. Never do business with them again. Well HP has taken over now and are kinda kisssing my ass over the deal but the only way to fix my disgruntledness would be to replace the motherboard/machine and they don't seem willing to do that yet.

Yes, Net-Tyme, it may be possible to runa crc on all valid drivers in the quake folder, but i'd rather give fuzz a new gfx card.
lol. The old PC I'm on now is a Pentium one with PCI.

The new one I'm half thru building is PCI-Express.

I'll just pull the dll from the directory for the weekend and use WinQuake to obs the match.

Interesting concept. I kind of like the FU idea. NOT.

Fuzznut do you need that file? Most of us had to rename that file didn't we? You must have an older machine? I had the 3dfx Voodoo in my 98 but when that system crashed I never bothered to replace it with the xp. It DID help my fps alot!. It's a shame that it has come to an era where you have to dump your card or not play because admins can't do this on an idividual basis. If it can detect the file then it should give the admins a heads up w/o a total ban. I just don't see the need for a total ban.

Been Googling for an hour. Can't find an actual download site for Wicked3d for Voodoo 1 cards. They're all under construction or 404.

Don't make me have to whip no ass up'n here.

Magn3tar put you up to this, didn't he? He's scared of me.
