Part of why I am on an extended Quake2 binge is the weapon sounds. The rocket launcher reminds me of the Katyushas from old WW2 footage.

actually i can't circle-strafe since i strafe with the mouse (i know its stupid but thats just the way i play and i cant get used to not playing tike this) and thus makes the LG a useless weapon most of the time..Those that don't like LG just can't aim
but appart from that, LG is just ghey! (as RG would put it
)
I mean.. what gun fizzes in stead of going BOOM!??! also, i think predicting where to fire a rocket is a far "deeper" skill than just pointing and shoot at the target.. and for fragging em in the air, now that takes some skill with RL!!
