A Farewell

Some of you may have noticed that in the last several months, there has been little to no activity from me. I suppose I'm to explain myself.
I've been slowly growing away from Quake and the community for a while. Between people I can't stand and some outside sources I really had a difficult time. Bank, as far the Quake community goes, was dying.
It was difficult but I brought myself to delete all of my bookmarks and move more and more away from the internet, I may have returned but it is certainly not the same. Several romantic problems, a death, and general unhappiness filled that gap between when I left and now and I don't think that I could return to the Quake community with any sort of certainty. It just wouldn't work out.
I've had some great friends among the Quakers, most of you in that group. But I suppose it's time for me to retire. If you'd like to keep in touch, I'd be glad to talk to you, but I can't make any promise to be around the community.
It's really been a great run, and I never would have gone from a virtual unknown who dropped by from Quake Terminus to the supposed celebrity I am (or was), I have witnessed many changes, mostly negative. I hate to say it but the Quake Community is certainly dying. With a severe lack of experienced players and an recent influx of idiots and ignorant fools, I'm no longer among good company. None of you fall into that category, but it's undeniable that Quakeone was in a downward spiral even when I was still around.
Phenom, Canadian*Sniper, Baker, Steve, and tons of others have been great friends and supporters, I appreciate it greatly. So, I suppose there's not much else to say. Please pass this on to Quakeone if you get a chance.
